COVID-19 restrictions tend to affect any aspect of life across the globe and a recent study reveals how the virus causes food prices to increase – at least perceptually.In a recent Ipsos survey, 63 per cent of global respondents said that since the coronavirus emerged, the cost of food, supermarket and household supplies has risen. Argentina and Turkey had the highest percentage of respondents saying their food prices had risen at 86 percent, followed by 80 percent for Chile, Mexico and South Africa.
