61 percent of U.S. employees have encountered or experienced discrimination in the workplace, according to a new survey. Cases carried in the U.S. Meanwhile, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is the lowest that they have been since 1992. Just 72,675 charges were put forward in 2019; this is very similar to the 72,302 cases in 1992, given the fact that the number of employees has risen.

While the largest increase in cases happened in 2010, 2011, and 2012, there is nothing but real in the general perception that workers have become more empowered and free to keep their employers responsible for the workplace discrimination laws.

We aimed at researching and visualizing these falling EEOC numbers, breaking them down by types of statements regarding discrimination. Statistics, reports and statistics about discrimination suggest that discrimination against jobs is as widespread as it has ever been, but employees may be discouraged by the lack of action arising from EEOC claims: only 2% of complaints eventually lead to an agency investigation marking it as a "fair cause" for litigation, and only 1% of employees prevail if the case goes to court.
